Scientific students´conference for GLOBE and BSP participants

On November 15-16, in Vilnius, Lithuania was held scientific students´ conference for GLOBE and Baltic Sea Project participants. During the opening ceremony, Giedra Gurevičiūtė Demereckienė and Amy Reichert from the US Embassy came to welcome the participants. Because Lithuania is very active in collecting phenology data, Lenka Kleger, Phenology Campaign Coordinator for Europe and Eurasia, also congratulated the conference participants by video call. To this conference came almost 100 participants from all Lithuania. Schools presented sent oral presentations and posters of their completed works. Participants presentations were evaluated by a judges - a group of experienced teachers consisting of Rasytė Gaidienė, Regina Talačkienė and Genutė Kuzmickienė. After all presentations and discussion of the first day, event continued by visiting the Museum of Zoology at Vilnius University. The UNESCO Baltic Sea Project's WebQuiz 2019 is ready for students all over Baltic Sea region!

The UNESCO ASPnet Baltic Sea Project's WebQuiz 2019 is ready for students all over Baltic Sea region to participate! *The quiz is in English and meant for students from 13 to 19 years with good English skills. *Teachers may also take the quiz but should mark (*teacher) behind their name. *You need computer with headphones and video possibility, Inthernet, and some research skills to score in BSP WebQuiz 2019! *You have 60 minutes to answer 10 questions. *You can only take the test once because we will count your first entry. *The quiz can be found from here:   https://bit.ly/2PBXxgH *The quiz is open till 20.december. *The international prizes will be given out in January 2020. Some national prizes may also be pointed to some students. The quiz is organized by Tartu Nature House (Estonian BSP coordinator) and funded by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research. Questions have been formed by different Baltic Sea Project teachers, coordinators and co-operation partners
