Global Citizenship Education Workshop

Dear all, The first international Global Citizenship Education camp is taking place from 27 to 29 May, 2020, in Koppelsberg (close to Plön) in northern Germany. Some of you might know this beautiful place from former conferences. Further information will be available soon. We will be happy to reply to your comments and questions, and are looking forward to hearing that you wish to be with us on this conference. Celebrating Baltic Sea Project's 30th birthday with an international camp

Co-operating through camps Drone picture on the coastline of the Baltic Sea, done by Enn Narrusson. You might wonder how Estonians celebrated the Baltic Sea Project's 30th birthday? We orginized a BSP international environmental awareness camp in Roosta, Estonia (26.-29.09.2019) and invited guest from other countries as well.  Here is a video done by the Polish delegation from Prywatna Szkoła Podstawowa Complex of Silesian International School (teacher Anna Stebel and students Wiktoria Stebel, Patrycja Makowska). This year the BSP got 30 years old, thus this camp focused on the Baltic Sea Project history (creating a common exhibition), Baltic Sea research and getting to know the costal situation and islands in Roosta (trip to Osmussaare island, costal hike, BSP programmes, scientific workshops), our cultural differences and similarities (culture nights) and providing leisure activities (sauna, ball games, swimming, adventure course, African drums). SDG Ball Games - Let Your Students Play

Here is a link for a  site  with inspiration for SDG games. This project is originally started by a Danish athlete. If you click the SDG icons at the bottom of the site, you will find detailed descriptions of how to play a game with your students, add ressing the chosen SDG. This can be a fun and active icebreaker for a school project on sustainability and global citizenship.

Collaboration across the Baltic Sea

At UNESCO ASPnet and BSP schools  we have common objectives based on shared values  to promote sustainable development and lifestyles and to nourish intercultural learning and appreciation of cultural diversity and heritage.  These goals are global, but, from our perspective, they're need to be addressed especially acutely in the Baltic Sea area.
